Beach babe

So today I officially start my new position as Content Coordinator for the Daily Progress. In between finishing up my staff photojournalist position last Tuesday and starting the new job today, I went back to Philly to hang with my family and friends. My friend Crystal, who is a fabulous musician, wanted to do a […]

This is my Dad

There are many like him, but this one is mine. As you are reading this I will probably be at the beach doing a shoot with my new Ezybox Hotshoe softbox (pictured). Damn thing was expensive but I think it is going to be a lot of fun to use. Stand by for picts from […]

Wild Blue Yonder

It was so low, I thought this balloon was going to land on my head. Last week this guy came floating right over my house through the beautiful late afternoon sunlight. I didn’t see it at first because it was just over my shoulder. Soon as they hit that burner, I whirled around and it […]

Back to our regularly scheduled posts. This has been a test of the emergency conk-shell system.

Charlottesville Drivers

I interrupt this regularly scheduled blog to bring you this important announcement. Charlottesville drivers suck! I log about 20,000 miles annually well over half of which are for work. This week I have been tailgated, cut-off, stuck behind left lane vigilantes, and general disregard for the turn signal. Charlottesville is starting to remind me of […]

It has been an interesting journey to rediscover these photos. Many aspects of photography evolve over time, including toning. Looking over photos taken a little over a year ago I favored a real low contrast flavor. Now, I am really digging higher contrast toning. I hope you are enjoying the series.

Jen is an incredible model and really played the part of the damsel quite well. We did a few shots of just her because she looked so good and the costume worked well. Maybe I will get to work with her in the future? Who Knows?
