Wedding Bells #4 Here Comes the Bride

Lekenda
So on the first day of the week, I present you the last photo in this series. I think it is also the best. Working in this church could have been a real challenge if I did not have my trusty 580s with me. Dark churches can make for a real nightmare to photograph. To create this light I used two Canon 580ex flashes on stands with my ST-E2 transmitter on camera. The flash on the left was aimed directly at Lekenda with the zoom head set to 105mm. That created a very narrow beam. The flash on the right was pointed straight up with the bounce card extended and set to about 24mm. This provided fill for the rest of the photo. I like this effect, and it was easy to create using ETTL2. All adjustments could be made on the fly. This same effect can be accomplished on manual with a set of Pocket Wizards but would take more time. None of the photos in this series were posed so ETTL2 provided a great run-&-gun ability.
